Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration
The Brisbane Catholic Education Vision and Mission and Christ the King School's Vision, Mission and Values align with the Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration in providing the best opportunities for young Australians. It highlights the significance of addressing each learner's unique needs and describes how education plays a crucial role in promoting young people's wellbeing, mental health and resilience.
The Declaration has two distinct, but interconnected, goals:
Goal 1: The Australian education system promotes excellence and quality
Goal 2: All young Australians become:
- confident and creative individuals
- successful lifelong learners
- active and informed members of the community.
Achieving these education goals is the responsibility of the Australian Governments and the education community, including Christ the King School, in partnership with young Australians, their families and carers, and the broader community.
