Consistent with our goal of providing quality educational outcomes for all students, the school has a Support for Learning team consisting of our Learning Support Teachers and a number of Assistants. This team provides in-class support and a variety of individual and group programs to promote the educational, social and emotional development of students with special needs. The school follows a specific enrolment process for children with clearly defined special educational needs. This is a Brisbane Catholic Education process and a copy is available from the school office upon request.
The school’s Guidance Counsellor is also a very important member of the Support Team, operating a number of proactive programs in classes throughout the school as well as providing individual counselling support.
